Meet Valerie Pinto Kriney, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA

Dr. Valerie Kriney, Audiologist, began her life-long career as a Speech Pathology student at Ithaca College. She attended New York University’s Graduate Program where she began her interest in hearing as an intern in the Con Edison Hearing Conservation Program. Dr. Kriney graduated with her Master’s degree and began working in an ENT medical practice in NY, NY.

After completing her Master of Arts degree, she worked in a Hospital Clinic in Paramus, NJ. In 1997, she attended course work at John’s Hopkins University by renowned tinnitus researcher, Dr. Pawel Jastreboff. This sparked her interest in hearing instruments as a treatment for tinnitus. In 2003, Dr. Kriney completed her Doctor of Audiology degree at Salus University in Elkins Park, PA. She subsequently worked for another ENT practice for 22 years before joining Morristown Hearing Solutions in June of 2021.

Dr. Kriney believes that there is a hearing improvement solution for all and that it is her job to lead her clients on this better hearing journey. She follows the principle of “person centered care” and guided choices for hearing instruments. She is a life member of both the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech Language Hearing Association. She is licensed in NJ and FL, as well as the Supervisory Licensee for Hearing Aid Dispensing at Morristown Hearing Solutions. Dr. Kriney is pleased to work alongside Dr. Allison Armelino. This practice is welcoming new clients by appointment only.
